Welcome to Deamo (hereinafter referred to as “we” or “us”). Deamo is a community app where you can share hair accessory styles, participate in style quizzes, and initiate or vote in polls. This Privacy Policy outlines how we collect, use, store, and protect your information when you use the Deamo mobile application (hereinafter referred to as “the App”).
By using Deamo, you agree to the practices described in this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.
1 Information We Collect
1.1 Information You Provide
- Account Information: When you create an account, we collect your nickname, profile picture, and bio. You may also provide an email address for account registration and recovery.
- Content You Create: Photos, videos, post descriptions, tags, polls you initiate, comments, and messages sent within the App.
- Style Quiz Answers: Your responses to in-app style quizzes, which are used to generate your personal style profile and recommend content. Quiz answers relate only to fashion preferences (such as outfit styles, color schemes, and accessory preferences) and do not involve any sensitive personal information.
1.2 Information Collected Automatically
- Usage Data: Features used, content viewed, likes, saves, follows, check-in records, and interactions related to polls.
- Device Information: Device model, operating system version, app version, language settings, and general diagnostic data (such as crash logs) used to ensure the App functions correctly.
- Transaction Records: Records of in-app purchases (such as our virtual item “Bows”) and their usage within the App. All payments are processed by Apple; we do not collect or store your payment card details.
1.3 Information from Your Device (Subject to Permission)
- Photo Library / Camera: Accessed only when you choose to upload a profile picture, post photos or videos, or add images to a chat. We access only the specific content you select.
- Push Notifications: Only with your permission, to send you alerts regarding likes, comments, poll results, new followers, and messages. You can disable this feature at any time in your system settings.
We do not collect your precise location, contact information, or health data.
2 How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Provide, maintain, and improve the app’s functionality;
- Create and display your profile and the content you share;
- Generate your style profile and provide personalized recommendations based on your survey responses and in-app activity;
- Process virtual item transactions and maintain your account balance and transaction history;
- Send notifications you have opted to receive;
- Moderate content to maintain a safe and friendly community atmosphere;
- Respond to your requests and provide customer support;
- Detect, prevent, and address technical issues, fraud, or abuse.
We do not sell your personal information to third parties.
3 How We Share Your Information
We share information only in the following specific circumstances:
- Sharing with other users: As part of the community experience, your nickname, avatar, bio, posts, voting history, and public activity information will be visible to other users. Content pending review is visible only to you until approved.
- Sharing with service providers: We may use trusted third-party services (such as cloud hosting and crash analytics) that process data on our behalf under confidentiality obligations and strictly within the scope necessary to operate the app.
- Sharing with Apple: In-app purchases are processed via Apple’s App Store payment system.
- For legal reasons: When required by applicable laws, regulations, or valid legal processes.
- Business transfers: If we are involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as part of the transaction; we will notify you if there is a change in the ownership or use of your personal information.
4 Data Storage and Security

- We retain your information only for as long as your account remains active or as necessary to provide the services of this app and fulfill legal obligations.

5 Your Rights and Choices
- Access and Updates: You can view and edit your personal profile (avatar, nickname, bio) within the app at any time.
- Content Management: You can delete posts, polls, and comments that you have published.
- Notifications: You can enable or disable push notifications in your device settings.
- Account Deletion: You can request to delete your account and associated personal data within the app at any time (Path: Settings → Delete Account), or contact us at service@deamo.cc. Once deleted, your personal data will be removed unless retention is required by law.
- Data Requests: You may contact us to request a copy of the personal data we hold about you or to ask questions regarding this Privacy Policy.
We will respond to verified requests within a reasonable timeframe, as required by applicable law.
6 Virtual Items
“Bows” are virtual items used within Deamo (e.g., to initiate polls or unlock full style reports). You can obtain “Bows” through daily check-ins or purchase them via Apple’s in-app purchase system. “Bows” have no monetary value outside the App, are non-transferable, and are non-refundable (unless otherwise required by applicable law or Apple’s refund policy).
7 Children’s Privacy
Deamo is not directed at children under the age of 13 (or the minimum age required in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we become aware that a child has provided us with personal information, we will delete such information immediately. 8 International Users
Your information may be stored and processed on servers located outside your region of residence. We take measures to ensure that your data receives adequate protection in accordance with this Privacy Policy and applicable laws.
9 Third-Party Links and Services
This App may contain content or links provided by other users. This Privacy Policy applies only to Deamo. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of third-party websites or services and encourage you to review their respective privacy policies.
